Established in 2014, Indian Aces is a tennis team that participates in the International Premier Tennis League. With the likes of Roger Federer, Pete Sampras, Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza among the roster, Indian Aces is a force to be reckoned with.

Participating in the International Premier Tennis League, Indian Aces won the inaugural event playing against the likes of UAE Royals, Philippines Mavericks, Singapore Slammers & Japan Warriors, each boasting of immense social media following and engagement. This event was covered in 9 countries spread across the world.

Problem Statement

To exceed the social media following and engagement for Indian Aces from what was observed in the inaugural edition of International Premier Tennis League.

Surpass the handles of all competing teams on Twitter in terms of engagement in the hashtag driven ‘Twitter Battle’ organised by IPTL.

Solution

Zamstars devised comprehensive, engaging and cohesive social media campaigns that elevated Indian Aces not just as a team but as leaders of the Tennis circuit. Zamstars established multiple creative interactive content points like contests, match live updates and audience promotion through the official handles of Indian Aces to create a loyal audience base and increase engagement.

For the ‘Twitter Battle’, Zamstars encouraged participation by sponsors and players along with the audience to promote #Aces.

Since there was no SPOC/Centralised Information Resource for sponsor co-ordination & team updates, Zamstars took the mantle of sponsor coordination, media relations & media collateral creation, including TVC editing.
