How Zamstars established the Design Language for a key unit of the trade association of the Indian IT & BPM Industry and managed and executed multiple national level programs.

Overview

NASSCOM and Govt. of Karnataka jointly formed the Centre of Excellence for Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (CoE DSAI). CoE DSAI has been established to nurture the ecosystem in the field of A.I. and Data Science. The key stakeholders of CoE DSAI are the Government, Industry, Start-ups and Academia.

The core purpose is to accelerate innovation in India where technology solutions are adapted for larger societal benefits and to nurture talent in AI and DS.

Problem Statement

Awareness about the CoE and its Purpose to all the 4 key stakeholders, was the main objective of the engagement. Onboarding Start ups and Industry for solving larger problems and use cases that impact citizens was pivotal for CoE to demonstrate their co-creation model. Curating programs and events to have the stakeholders participate and co create was critical for CoE Suncess. Training Academia on AI and Data Science and leveraging Academia to participate in Government and Industry problems was a critical success factor of COE.

AI for Good was the anchor concept for the foundation of CoE DSAI. The need was to establish the brand and its promise. The brand needed a visual identity that breaks all geometrical barriers and enables all 4 stakeholders to contribute to AI for Good. CoE DSAI wanted to onboard a partner who can program and manage the entire marketing and outreach which involved creation of digital assets with planning and execution of campaigns/initiatives/events.

Solution

Zamstars identified and crafted the yearlong program/event calendar that covered industries in focus. These programs involved all 4 key stakeholders.  Zamstars defined and designed the visual identity for CoE DSAI and also designed and developed a new website.

Zamstars undertook an Offline Outreach program through calls to reach out to various industries, academia and startups and onboarded them into the program.

Zamstars also created digital assets from video journals to case studies and white papers,  to showcase the various accomplishments of CoE DSAI and the same were promoted over social channels.

4 National level Events were planned and executed by Zamstars to recognise emerging start-ups and also to establish an industry connect for start-ups with use cases.

Zamstars used the Hub and Spoke approach to manage this program.

Zamstars deployed a very senior resource to operate out of the CoE DSAI office to program manage this initiative. He was instrumental in planning and strategy. The extended team of Zamstars, operating from Zamstars office, worked as spokes to the program management in areas of website development, creative ideas, design, content and event management.

  • Registered 500+ applications for the AI for Good program.

  • Created the visual language for CoE-DSAI that laid the foundation for developing the website. Design, Content and development of CoE Website.
  • The design, content and delivery of various collaterals, brochure, standees, event-related collaterals
  • Youtube channel was created and managed for the AI Pathshaala initiative to enhance the interaction and engagement with the academic community
